Planta Atlanta Opens in Buckhead Village
Planta Restaurant Chain is expanding to meet the rising demand for meat-free dining options, beginning in Atlanta this summer with Watchman’s replacing Watchmans at Krog Street Market before expanding further with locations at Buckhead Village and Vinings Village next year.
Piedmont Center Office Park’s Oxton entertainment district will see a brewpub and barbecue restaurant opening by 2024, as does Dear Friend Bagels from Dale Donchey of Spiller Park Coffee, who plans to open a branch near this new spot.
PLANTA offers an innovative plant-based menu in an inviting contemporary atmosphere, using local produce whenever possible to reduce its carbon footprint and support local farmers. Perfect for vegans and anyone curious to try something different, PLANTA’s Krog Street Market location boasts delectable dishes and a commitment to sustainability – and is, therefore, well worth your visit.
This full-service venue and bar will open its doors on June 30 in the former Watchman’s Seafood and Spirits space, serving vegan renditions of classic favorites like sushi, nachos, ceviche, lasagna, and pizza – as well as unagi eggplant nigiri with watermelons as well as spicy lunaconi pasta and bang bang broccoli dishes! Additionally, they will provide Dan Dan noodles and various types of dumplings.
At its opening, this restaurant will offer lunch and dinner services with plans to offer weekend brunch and breakfast. Their seasonal menu will feature fresh dishes paired with cocktails for diners to enjoy.
This restaurant features tropical plants, wood panel booths, and wicker light fixtures to create an upbeat ambiance that appeals to millennials and other consumers interested in living a meat-free lifestyle. They can accommodate allergies to nuts or gluten. Furthermore, an impressive selection of non-alcoholic drinks – the Herb Your Enthusiasm cocktail features Lyre’s dark cane spirit combined with Seedlip Grove 42 for non-alcoholic vodka alternatives!
