Actress-producer Sargun Mehta’s Saunkan Saunkne has been winning hearts all over. The latest celebrity to join its list of admirers is actor Varun Dhawan. Varun was talking at a press conference recently about comedies in regional cinema and started praising Saunkan Saunkne. “Relationship comedies in Punjab are really doing well, be it Honsla Rakh or Saunkan Saunkne. It has got the highest opening ever, and it has broken records. The concept is comical and that is working well there. Diljeet Paji’s Honsla Rakh was also very entertaining. Punjab wants that entertainment,” he said.
Saunkan Saunkne stars Sargun and Ammy Virk. The two share an amazing bond on-screen as well as off-screen. The audiences have been loving watching the two together on screen. In fact, the film unexpectedly got a better opening than actor Ranveer Singh’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Sargun is also debuting in Bollywood in a film featuring Akshay Kumar.
