Popular singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, known as KK, passed away last night after performing at a concert. The musician, best known for his songs like Yaaron, Tu Aashiqui Hai, Aankhon Mein Teri and more was at a college fest in Kolkata. After the concert, he reportedly collapsed in his hotel room and was declared dead when he was rushed to the CMRI hospital. He was only 53.
The shocking news has left many devastated as KK’s loved ones, his fans and the music industry mourn his loss. Now, videos of his last performance have gone viral. The late singer had also shared pictures of himself performing at his concert in Kolkata. This was his last post before he passed away and it has left fans in tears. He had captioned the post, “Pulsating gig tonight at Nazrul Mancha. Vivekananda College !! Love you all”

KK began his career in music with jingles for advertisements. After his big break in the entertainment industry with an AR Rahman soundtrack, he went on to have an iconic discography. Among his several memorable hits are songs like Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai, Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe, Khuda Jaane and others.
