Shah Rukh Khan fans including me must be having a rush of excitement as the actor announces his next. King Khan is finally set to collaborate with ace film-maker Rajkumar Hirani with a film titled Dunki. SRK took to Twitter to make this announcement.

It’s so lovely to see SRK expressing that he is feeling humbled to finally work with Hirani. But that’s not all. The announcement video is so much fun and it will leave a smile on your face.
Rajkumar Hirani expressed that working with SRK has always been on the wish-list.
“After trying to collaborate several times in the past, we were finally destined to have Dunki mark our partnership. The energy, charisma, humour and charm that Shah Rukh Khan brings to a film is unparalleled and I look forward to bringing that magic to the big screen.”
The film will be filled with comedy and emotions and the title Dunki is so quirky. Considering Hirani’s reputation of giving us movies which straight away touch hearts and give a message as well, I cannot wait to see what the film is about. But SRK saying, ‘Pataa nahi kya hai, joh bhi hai lelo‘ in the announcement video, is so funny!

We have just started shooting this month and I am cherishing every moment of it. Raju ke liye main Donkey, Monkey…kuch bhi ban sakta hoon!”
Dunki stars Taapsee Pannu opposite Shah Rukh Khan and I’m looking forward to seeing this pair on-screen.

All the King Khan fans are anxiously waiting for Pathaan, ever since the release date has been announced. Also, the actor’s picture from the sets of Pathaan added fuel to fire. But clearly, SRK doesn’t stop there. He is on a roll, and with this announcement, he’s further left all the movie-goers in frenzy. Dunki is also produced under his banner, Red Chillies Entertainment and is set to release on Christmas 2023 – December 22. The film is written by Hirani along with Abhijat Joshi and Kanika Dhillon.
