Sadly, We met Ron a few months ago. This individual asked me to come to their house because his cellar walls were severely bowed, bulging, and shifted from the first course and plumb. I noticed portions of the outside “waterproofing” system from 10 years ago and the inside/outside technique from six years ago both possessed fatal flaws, but… Not the design was the cause of the problem. Soon after careful inspection, I applied the real problem—-BAD FRAMING!!!! Well, the simple answer is concrete only based sealants have a fatal flaw, specifically expansion and contraction from the soil.
