Olivia Newton-John Tributes: Hollywood Honors ‘Grease’ Star and Singer

Jane Lynch, Antonio Banderas, Lea Salonga, Gabrielle Union, George Takei and extra have posted tributes to “Grease” star and singer Olivia Newton-John, who died on Monday at 73 years previous. Along with John Travolta, who shared a heartfelt post about his “Grease” co-star on Instagram, different actors, administrators and members of Hollywood took to social media to recollect Newton-John’s profession.

On Monday, Newton-John’s husband introduced that she “handed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California…surrounded by household and mates,” including that she was “an emblem of triumphs and hope for over 30 years” after sharing her experiences with breast most cancers.

Jane Lynch, who sang “Bodily” alongside Newton-John for her visitor episode on “Glee” in 2010, merely tweeted “ONJ. Angel.”

“Star Trek” actor George Takei stated: “We’ve misplaced an incredible, iconic artist in Olivia Newton John, gone too quickly from us at age 73. I belief she is now within the nice Xanadu past. Know that we’re perpetually hopelessly dedicated to you, Olivia. Relaxation in track and mirth.”

Lea Salonga, who stars in HBO Max’s “Fairly Little Liars” reboot “Authentic Sin,” stated: “Relaxation In Peace, Olivia Newton-John. Hers was one of many voices of my childhood. Deepest condolences to everybody she cherished and cherished her.”

Director James Gunn shared his condolences and revealed he lived in Newton-John’s former home at one level.

“Final Evening in Soho” and “Shaun of the Lifeless” director Edger Wright paid tribute to the late star by praising her cult-classic musical movie “Xanadu.”
