Moon Knight: Ethan Hawke reveals if Hulk & Blade will make cameos in the upcoming series

The upcoming release of the Marvel Disney Plus series Moon Knight has every fan on the edge of their seats. The series will mark the first live-action portrayal of Oscar Isaac’s titular superhero. Besides Isaac, the show casts Lucy Thackeray, May Calamawy, the late Gaspard Ulliel as Anton Mogart aka Midnight Man and Ethan Hawke as Arthur Harrow.

In a conversation on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, via Screenrant, Hawke was asked to spill some tea and comment on fan theories. Hawke addressed the rumours about Mark Ruffalo‘s Hulk being a part of the series and revealed that if by any chance Ruffalo had indeed filmed for the series in secret he would have at least dropped a text, according to Hawke. He then added, “I don’t think that one’s got a lot of legs. Maybe I’m being secretive, they kept that whole Spider-Man stuff secret,” referring to Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s cameo on Spider-Man: No Way Home.

However, on the possibility of Mahershala Ali’s Blade making an appearance on the show, Hawke replied, “I wish Blade was there, that would’ve been cool.” Fans have been hoping for a tag team that would bring together the darker aspects of Marvel together with Doctor Strange, Moon Knight and Blade.

Meanwhile, the series is set to focus on a vigilante, Steven Grant, who gets his powers from the Egyptian moon god Khonshu due to his dissociative identity disorder. Directed by Egyptian filmmaker Mohamed Diab, the show is expected to have an authentic representation of the culture.
