Kim Kardashian says that her SNL debut was supposed to have more jokes about Kanye West.
“I don’t want too many Kanye jokes, like one. So there’s two or three in here so I think I’m gonna take this one out. This one’s from Michelle Wolf,” she said. “[…] The divorce is so sensitive for him. I’m already saying that part in the monologue, I don’t want to like — maybe I could talk to Chris and think of something funny. I could just tell him, ‘Hey! This is super sensitive to him.””
She did make a joke about Kanye in her monologue: “I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America. A talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids. So, when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to one thing: his personality.”
