“I am a woman, not a parcel” – Alia Bhatt on patriarchal coverage of her pregnancy
Alia Bhatt expressed her disapproval of certain news items being circulated by sections of the media ever since her pregnancy was announced. While good wishes have been pouring in from all over, Alia Bhatt was also deeply disappointed in some of the misogynistic media coverage she received.
The actress took to her Instagram stories to write, that meanwhile, we are still living in some people’s heads in a patriarchal world. She wrote that her projects had not gotten delayed.
