Upon entering, the magnificent grounds lit up with lights … colorful flags everywhere … ticket booths on the side … 35 feet photo of ‘that’ Lavanyavati in front … a spectacle of spectacle adorned in front … … Vida in the mouth … Rhythm of dholaki … Accompaniment of bells … Flower planting … Applause of fans, alarm of whistles … You may have wondered after hearing this description, where is this spectacle of spectacle in Maharashtra. So this was a huge bang at the Opera House in Mumbai. Where English, Hindi and regional language programs are held. Today, for the first time, there was the sound of drums and humming. The occasion was ‘Chandramukhi’.

The ‘Chandramukhi’ that the audience has been eagerly waiting for for many days is ‘Chandramukhi’ which is the moon of beauty. The veil on this ‘moon’ has finally been lifted and she has come from the moon like a fairy in the heavens. This beautiful Chandra is Amrita Khanwilkar. The title song ‘Chandra’ was also performed. The song is composed by Shreya Ghoshal and the lyrics are by Guru Thakur. So this song has got the music of Ajay-Atul. In this eye-catching grand ceremony, a photo of 35 feet ‘Chandra’ was unveiled by Adinath Kothare, a wealthy man from a red light vehicle. This time Chandra won the hearts of the audience with her brave planting.

In this ceremony, real planting artists also presented their planting. There are different types of planting like Gana, Gavalan. This time these folk artists were also honored by the film team. Aburao-Baburao i.e. Pushkar Shrotri and Sandeep Pathak entertained the audience with their unique projections. A few days ago, the teaser of ‘Chandramukhi’ was released. At that time, ‘Chandramukhi’ was seen sitting on the back and adorning. This was the backbone of a wealthy country with a toned body. Recently, the face of Daulat Deshmane came in front of us and now ‘Chandra’ has come in front of the audience. This is the story of the unique love between Daulat Deshmane and Lavani Kalawant, who are steeped in politics.

Regarding her role, Amrita Khanwilkar says, “I am playing the most different and powerful role I have ever played in ‘Chandramukhi’. Chandra is a planting artist and she will bring the life of the planting artist in front of the audience. I am very happy to have the opportunity to play such a role. Today, the curiosity of ‘Chandramukhi’ for many days has come to an end. The same curiosity you had, the curiosity I have now to watch a movie. We are dedicating this film to this folk artist. We have made a small effort to give them a platform on this occasion and the audience should experience this magnificent film at the cinema.”

The director of the film, Prasad Oak, says, “We were also anxiously awaiting the release of Chandramukhi’s face. But we are looking for the right time and finally the right time has come. The moon is such a beauty, whose beauty will injure anyone. Due to her beauty, Adani is a tempting ‘Chandra’. The success of her fight will be known only after watching ‘Chandramukhi’. Composer Ajay-Atul says, We put a lot of effort into this as we need songs that are beautiful to the moon. The film team, including director Prasad Oak, helped us a lot. Lavani is a triune confluence of song, dance and acting. Therefore, these songs of ours have been enriched by Amrita with her dance performance.

On the other hand, Akshay Bardapurkar, the founder and head of ‘Planet Marathi’ says, It is a magnificent film and it will have a unique love story revolving around politics. The main purpose behind holding the ceremony at the British-era Opera House is that the place has historical significance and planting is a distinctive part of our Maharashtra folk culture. Therefore, where English and Hindi are given a place of prestige, our elite tradition should be presented, this was our insistence. Piyush Singh, COO of Golden Ratio Films, says, “We wanted to show Chandramukhi in cinemas without showing it to us in any medium. That’s why we waited so long. Now that one hundred percent seating capacity is allowed, the audience should enjoy this movie in the cinema. The team of the film and Ajay-Atul’s amazing songs have come together to form a perfect yoga.”

The film is based on Vishwas Patil’s novel ‘Chandramukhi’, produced by Akshay Bardapurkar, Planet Marathi and Golden Ratio Films. After ‘Natarang’, Ajay-Atul’s powerful music will be heard by the audience. The film is being shot by Sanjay Memane and ‘Chandramukhi’ will be released on April 29.
