Great expectations for Ferrari Purosangue
[ad_1]
Ferrari’s first utility vehicle, the Purosangue, has been spotted road testing in Italy before an expected formal debut in coming months. The plug-in hybrid is expected to feature a front midengine architecture for optimal weight distribution. A teaser image suggests the Purosangue has very thin, horizontal headlights, a large air intake and Ferrari badges on the hood and grille. It resembles a five-door grand tourer rather than a direct rival to the Lamborghini Urus or Aston Martin DBX. Ferrari describes it as a “luxury high-performance vehicle” for the GT range. Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna, speaking to shareholders last week, expressed confidence the Purosangue “will exceed our customers’ expectations.” Deliveries will begin in 2023.
